The CIC is looking for a highly talented individual to fill the position of:
Assistant Manager – Construction Innovation & Technology Fund (CITF)

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised degree in construction related disciplines;
  2. a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience;
  3. familiarize with the construction industry of Hong Kong including operations of the stakeholder parties such as contractors and subcontractors and execution of different projects;
  4. experience in promulgating and adopting innovation and technology in the construction industry of Hong Kong;
  5. a high level of integrity and a good sense of responsibility; good communication and interpersonal skill;
  6. proactive attitude and detailed-minded for quality delivery in assigned tasks;
  7. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); good Chinese word processing skill is a must; and
  8. excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include

  1. to handle the assigned CITF applications from vetting the applications at the application stage till full reimbursements; and to keep track the applicants’ progress closely including performing on-site inspections at the applicants’ offices and construction sites;
  2. to review applications vetted by the team to ensure full compliance with the framework, terms and conditions as well as service pledge; and to be a role model to subordinates;
  3. to provide secretariat support to the relevant Committees and Vetting Sub-committees and prepare the agenda, papers, minutes and other relevant documents;
  4. to enhance and timely update the operational manual of the CITF;
  5. to maintain close liaison with industry stakeholders as to the utilization of the funds and challenges faced; and to provide suggestions for management consideration where appropriate to keep the CITF robust to support industry development;
  6. to source suitable innovation and technology for use in the construction industry;
  7. to prepare bilingual management reports as well as presentation materials in PowerPoint; and
  8. to carry out any other duties assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.



The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
