Job Role:

Ensure the professional and effective planning, management and delivery of events of different scales so as to achieve the organization’s overall objectives in brand building, leads generation and revenue growth. This position reports to Manager, Event Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective planning, promotion and execution of GS1HK anchor events to reinforce brand awareness, cultivate customer/partner relationship and drive sales leads, including to develop the detailed execution checklist and timeline, regular work in progress report and co-ordinate with the co-workers
  • Ensure the effective planning, promotion and execution of business unit-led events or programmes for appropriate participants / delegates recruitment, ultimately achieving leads generation and revenue growth
  • Implement database acquisition, segmentation and maintenance to ensure marketing effectiveness.  Responsible for database acquisition, monitor database updating and maintenance.
  • Provide supervision to the event agencies, overseeing the onsite logistics of the events and post event promotional actions, analysis, report to reinforce GS1HK’s branding, thought leadership and revenue generation
  • Support the divisional budget management and control, and payment settlement process

Requirements

  • University graduate in Marketing / Event Management or related discipline
  • With minimum 4-5 years of working experience in Event Marketing, strong in driving event execution and process with business oriented event management experience
  • Strong in integrated marketing and capable to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
  • Highly motivated individual with creative thinking skills
  • Strong project management, analytical, organisation and problem solving skills and attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
