Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting duties in relation to invoicing and account receivable.
  • Monitor collection of debts and follow up with overdue payments.
  • Handle receipts and reconciliation.
  • Assist in credit review & perform credit control.
  • Prepare regular credit control reports and forecasting.
  • Assist in preparation of weekly, monthly financial reports and other ad hoc reports.
  • Handle debt collection by liaising with customers & related department to ensure timely settlement.
  • Ensuring compliance with the group & local guidelines and policies.
  • Coordinate with offshore team for account receivables flow.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with at least 6 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
  • Professional accounting qualification is highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable management in the insurance industry.
  • Thorough understanding of best practice in finance/accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant current statutory, legal and regulatory accounting requirements.
  • Excellent data analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and multi- task in an occasionally pressured environment.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
