Assistant Manager II
School of Interdisciplinary Studies

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the management and operation of the Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Global Development and Sustainability (GDS) and other interdisciplinary programmes
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to programme-level committees
  • Plan and implement strategies for promotion and publicity for the GDS and other interdisciplinary programmes
  • Administer student advising services for the GDS
  • Organise and participate in outreaching activities for GDS and other interdisciplinary programmes
  • Organise enrichment activities such as mentorship programme
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector
  • Excellent command of both English and Chinese and proficiency Putonghua
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational, management and multitasking skills
  • The ability to take the initiative and to carry out duties independently and under tight schedule
  • A strong sense of responsibility

 

Salary and Fringe Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
