This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Programme Manager (PM) to manage the implementation programme of the Intranet and Extranet Sites Revamp and related technology refreshment works
  • Act as Project Leader for new MS Sharepoint platform setup, websites and document repository migration (for over 200,000 documents), and multiple systems integration, e.g. video platform, messaging app, weather and traffic information, etc
  • Manage key stakeholders, including the senior management, and vendors for system integration to ensure the business requirements are technically feasible and ensure the new websites have smooth system integration and good User Experience (UX)
  • Assist the PM to manage overall websites design and consistency and to ensure the implementation programme is under control to meet the scope and project schedule
  • Review the security design of the websites and system interfaces e.g. HR management system, external access via Extranet and messaging app to ensure the compliance with the Authority's IT Information Security Policy
  • Plan and manage overall programme testing and acceptance activities
  • Work closely with vendors and IT backend support teams for websites technical design and resolving issues.
  • Manage and monitor the vendors’ performance for carrying out the project and support works

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines, with at least 8 years of relevant working experience with 3 years project experience in implementation of MS SharePoint Deployment or enterprise websites revamp projects. Experience in implementation of new Intranet site will be an advantage
  • Substantial experience in project management in infrastructure or software deployment is preferable
  • Excellent project and vendor management skills.
  • Good knowledge of SharePoint on-premise/online, Office 365, Microsoft Windows, SQL Server
  • Working experience in web development utilizing JQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS, HTML, and SharePoint Designer, Nintex is preferable
  • Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and / or ITIL Certification is preferable
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
