The appointee will work with colleagues from Clear Water Bay Campus and Mainland Units to support (i) research grant applications through HKUST Mainland Platforms; (ii) negotiation and review of the terms of contracts, agreements etc. and (iii) knowledge transfer related activities. Besides, the appointee will also help to promote FYTGS initiatives to faculty, staff, and students in Clear Water Bay Campus through organization of related events and programs, such as workshops and seminars. He/She may sometimes be required to work outside normal office hours and be assigned with ad-hoc duties. This position is based in HKUST Clear Water Bay Campus. Occasional travel to Mainland may be required.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or above with at least 3 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably on grant application and management, intellectual property management, and administrative support. We are looking for a high calibre person with excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good analytical and organizational skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills. As a team player, the ideal candidate should also be capable of handling multi-tasks, and be able to liaise and network with both external clients and internal offices. Good IT knowledge with high proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is desirable. Prior work experience in tertiary institutions is an advantage. Applicants with less experience will be considered for the position of Officer (Program). (Duration: 1 year)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
