We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Macau Branch.

In this role, you will

  • Support the collective performance of the service and operation of Macau Branch office
  • Maintains and enhances the operational standards and efficiency
  • Encourage and enable productive teamwork and matrix working, by demonstrating a collaborative approach and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy or the best interests of the business and its customers
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding and agreeing performance expectations, completing the necessary mandatory training and developing the levels of capability and competence needed to be effective in the role
  • Assist the line manager in daily activities, running effectiveness and efficiency of the Macau Branch
  • Supports the mitigation of operational, regulatory and reputational risks within the Team
  • Handle enquiries from customers and bank’s sales staff
  • Work collaboratively with Hong Kong operation team
  • Share best practices to drive overall customer experience

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Fellow, Life Management Institute
  • Several years experience in life or retirement business field with more than a couple of years of underwriting and customer service experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Effective interpersonal and time management skills
