Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with corporate brand marketing, PR communication, and operations teams to ensure onboard marketing collateral is deployed in accordance with brand standards. Translate brand standards into onboard guidelines and promotional templates.
  • Help drive revenue on marketing activities across operational areas that the team supports, including retail, shore excursions, spa, food & beverage, etc.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure seamless execution of all onboard guest marketing, communication, promotion, activation initiatives and decoration concepts, including detailed ship team briefings and logistics.
  • Assist with content for digital signage, mobile app content, interactive TV content, printed promo/ads/flyers, and other creative collateral to ensure consistency across channels.
  • Develop POSM and onsite setups efficiently by liaising with vendors, agencies and printers, etc.
  • Monitor and propose ways to refine the guest experience from post-sale to post-cruise and continuously explore engaging ways to educate and delight the guest.
  • Support the development of the guest experience surveys and monitor its results to ensure timely feedback to appropriate groups and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 6 years of work experience in relevant fields including marketing, PR, event management, and service implementation in consumer oriented industries. Experience in the travel and hospitality industry, particularly in cruising, is an advantage.
  • Global business mindset, with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Creative flair, aesthetic sense and good eye for design. Prior experience with Mac platform, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign will be a definite advantage.
  • Strategic and pragmatic mindset, understands the importance of ongoing data analysis, tracking and performance metrics to assess and iterate marketing initiatives.
  • “Get your hands dirty” work ethic and a willingness to dig deep into operations.
  • Independent and able to work under pressure and tight schedules.
  • Detail oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Passion for learning and openness to different perspectives.
  • High degree of self-motivation with aspirations for leadership positions.
