Responsibilities: 

  • To assist in managing the processes of Joint Venture (JV) development project tendering, coordinating with other divisions for the preparation of expression of interest invitation brochure, development agreement, tender document and contract for execution
  • To assist in providing inputs for amendments to the policies, procedures etc. related to JV development project tendering
  • To review and advise on tendering and contracting matters, assist in seeking approval from the relevant authority, and draft and compile contract documents for execution for all divisions/departments on procurement of services, works and material supply contracts
  • To maintain contract commitment records and analyze data/ information relating to procurement.
  • To perform compliance check and propose improvements to procurement and variation orders managed by other divisions/departments

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in commercial, legal, construction or information technology or related discipline  
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in the procurement, commercial, legal or construction related field, OR at least 10 years’ relevant work experience in procurement, commercial, legal or construction related field
  • Experience in drafting contracts and exposure to contract management/ administration, indirect procurement and/or revenue tendering 
  • Working knowledge of contract law and company law in common law jurisdiction
  • Basic commercial knowledge on accounting, financial and/or company secretarial matters
  • General knowledge of property development and construction practices in Hong Kong

 

(A temporary 11-month employment contract will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal or change to permanent appointment will be subject to operational needs and mutual agreement between the Authority and the individual.)
