If your answers are positive, this job will fit your needs. In this job, you would have the chance to introduce the beautiful side of Hong  Kong to foreigners and network with senior executives from various industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in overseeing all the activities of the AIC's operations in Hong Kong
  • Provide internship placements and related services to university students of AIC partner universities.
  • Consult and advise domestic and international students on their professional development by holding individual career assessment meetings 
  • Conduct employer and internship sponsor outreach 
  • Maintain and foster current employer relations 
  • Develop, coordinate and host workshops and career training for students 
  • Oversee delivery of program components such as housing, academic coursework, and orientation activities.
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with AIC partner universities.
  • Assist in market research and provide content for marketing and internship program materials.
  • Be on 24 hours phone call standby in case of students’ emergencies. Will need to assist in attending to the situation should it be a serious case. Training will be provided and support will be rendered.
  • Assist in visa applications and administrative tasks such as writing business documents, collecting materials
  • Lead and provide logistic support to student's activities 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in education, social work, counselling, HR, business development or related field desired
  • An understanding of the workings of students and academia preferred
  • Outgoing, Flexible, Resourcefulness and enthusiasm required
  • Strong networking and client service skills required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Excellent English communication required
  • Strong cross-cultural awareness preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and in small group situations required
