Job Posting Details

The Office is looking for a civic-minded and committed individual to join as Assistant Officer (Co-curricular Programs) of HKUST Connect. The appointee will be responsible for the daily operation of the program including the delivery and administrative duties of the service learning and student development programs.  He/She will work with community organizations in identifying, planning and implementing service learning projects for HKUST students, providing coaching and advising support to students in their projects, and their personal development.  The appointee will be required to work on flexi-hours including outside normal office hours and perform other duties as assigned by the Office.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant working experience, a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good IT skills, competent interpersonal and communication skills and an outgoing personality. The appointee should have strong project management experience.  Preference will be given to those with knowledge of multi-media editing software or programming.  Fresh graduates who were student leaders and were actively involved in community service will also be considered. (Duration: 2 years)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
