Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. Assistant People Development Manager (Contract)

Our Membership Services and Catering Departments manage one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

You will:

  • Actively participate in the day-to-day planning and execution of People Development Team projects & initiatives in the Membership Services and Catering Departments.
  • Assist the accreditation of Qualifications Framework (QF) 
  • Monitor and maintain databases to track project progress and budgets
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders; co-ordinate meetings and provide administrative assistance as required
  • Assist in providing operational and administrative support to all learning and development functions in the department
  • Compose training analytic and reports
  • Co-ordinate with external vendors and internal partners in the execution of learning and leadership development initiatives
  • Support the development of SOP, training manuals and other learning & development projects

You should have:

  • Degree or above in Training & Development related subjects
  • At least 5 years’ of solid experience in people development functions, preferably in hospitality or servicing industry but not a must
  • Good communications skills and be able to communicate to all levels of staff
  • Excellent training and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Good English, fluent Mandarin is an advantage
  • Candidate with less experience might be considered for the position "Senior People Development Officer"
