Estates Office 

The appointee will be responsible for assisting the planning and development of projects; assessing proposals from architects/consultants; planning and recommending the long-term space recruitments and allocation for the University; preparing briefs and development proposals and conceptual designs for campus planning, development, modification works and improvement projects; and submitting relevant documents to the University Grants Committee. He/she will liaise with government departments and consultants in matters relating to campus projects; manage capital works, addition, alteration and improvement works on campus; maintain a high level of health and safety standards of the campus and perform other duties as assigned. 

Applicants should have a recognized degree in Architecture or related disciplines with at least 5 years of relevant full-time working experience. They should be highly self-motivated, able to work under pressure, independent and with minimum supervision. They should have a high degree of proficiency in using AutoCAD and MS Office applications; strong planning, organization and interpersonal skills, and good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. A related full professional membership qualification status, such as HKIA or equivalent, will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates may be required to sit for a written test.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
