Job Responsibilities :

  • Work with corporate technical team to improve quality in the areas of sewing and construction, fitting, pattern and grading
  • Ensure the Technical Design team to evaluate and determine garment quality and fit in comparison to specification packages, measure garment, check construction and workmanship, screen out unacceptable samples
  • Supervise sample approval efficiency and drive for process improvement
  • Develop technical quality standard and SOP for new business strategy
  • Assist Director to arrange and lead technical meetings with vendors to resolve quality and fit problems
  • Assist Director to provide technical advices and training to merchants and vendors on appropriateness of sample fitting, construction and grading
  • Assist Director to provide orientation to new Vendor
  • Assist Director to join with QA department to tackle technical issues to ensure company delivers goods meeting buyers’ standard

Job Requirements :

  • Degree or above in fashion design studies or related discipline
  • At least 12 years practical fitting experience with 3 years in senior level or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical skills in garment construction , fit, pattern making, grading and experience in approving fit samples
  • Good people skills, especially in communication and good fashion sense
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized and analytical, able to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines
  • Sound judgment, particularly related to problem solving and pattern correction at development and sampling stage
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communications
  • Good command in spoken and written English
  • Computer skills in Word and Excel essential
  • Knowledge in web PDM and Illustrator software
