Our client is a leading US financial institution and this role sits within their regional head office in Hong Kong. The incumbent will act as a partner to Human Resources and provides strategic counsel, strategy and support on employee engagement. Successful applicant will also serve as the key owner for the regional intranet platform and for the tracking and delivery of internal metrics across the function in Asia.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Development and execution of strategic internal communications plans that support objectives and shape positive business outcomes through engaging employees in the success of the company
  • Provide executive communications support to Asia’s business leaders
  • Provide counsel to senior leaders on engagement communications strategies and secure buy-in on approaches
  • Simplify complex ideas and strategies for internal audiences
  • Create and maintain a network of internal influencers
  • Work effectively through shared processes with others at all levels within the organization
  • Effectively manage and deliver communication through a variety of channels including current and emerging communications technology
  • Manage external agencies

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree or above in business or communication related disciplines
  • More than 10 years of relevant work experience in internal communications, preferably with a sizable organization and in a regional capacity. Candidates with financial services sector experience will be a plus
  • Must be social media savvy. Prior experience in using technology in internal communications will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Fluent English. Knowledge of another Asian language will be a plus
