Assistant Vice President (Infrastructure)

Responsibilities: 

• Lead a team to maximize company revenue through exploring business opportunities 
• Lead the business discussion, influence client's decisions and establish/maintain a good relationship with clients 
• Obtain and review client’s requirements to propose the best-fit solutions to fulfill client’s needs 
• Respond to RFI / tender and responsible for the technical write-up, translation of functional & non-functional requirements into a solution design, Scope of Work, products/vendors sourcing, and quotation 
• Responsible for the overall design and architecture of the tender proposal and project delivery 
• Prepare and deliver demonstration/presentation to customers and partners 
• Work with the internal teams and partners on architectural design, solution planning, and feasibility study on infrastructure including Cloud Computing Services, network, and IoT Technology development, etc. 
• Act as a liaison between the IT and business community to make sure the proposed technology can meet the tender/project requirements 
• Responsible for the total solution cost estimation. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines 
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in solution architecture or solution consulting of IT infrastructure including network technologies, TCP / IP, network security, cyber security, cloud, privileged identity management, and various encryption methodologies, with at least 3 years in the leader role 
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience leading a presales team in presales and open tender bidding 
• Experience in infrastructure solution design, such as 
• Design of enterprise-grade infrastructure, including server, storage, network, security, virtualization platform, database, AI, Big data, and system monitoring 
• Network security solutions such as firewall, NIPS / NIDS, anti-malware, HIPS/IDS, SSLVPN 
• System security solutions, including cyber security, privileged identity management, and various encryption methodologies, advanced persistent threat (APT) protection, and protection against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) 
• Linux / Unix, Windows with features on load balancing, HA/DR & Storage  
• Network technologies such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN). 
• Public/Private Cloud solution design – AWS, Azure, or Huawei Cloud are preferred 
• Sound knowledge of open-sourced technologies and frameworks 
• Good understanding of IT best practices and methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, SSADM, RUP, etc) is an advantage 
• Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in a challenging environment 
• A good team player with analytical & problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and good interpersonal skills 
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Cantonese is necessary 
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
