Job Duties:

  • Analyse clients’ production and logistic operations, and identify potential areas for productivity improvement and innovation by automation
  • Propose solutions with feasibility study, and facilitate clients to map out the development plan for customized automation machine, process automation and smart manufacturing
  • Carry out the data analysis and work out feasible solutions on automation and intelligent system according to clients’ needs by integrating various technologies (i.e. intelligent automation and robotics, smart devices, machine vision, IoT, simulation, etc.)
  • Assist to implement automation machine development, and system integration to complete turn-key projects and government funded projects
  • Assist to develop and deliver training courses, workshops, study missions to promote awareness of smart manufacturing technologies and applications
  • Occasional travel to the mainland to carry out projects

Job Requirements:

  • Degree from disciplines from Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, System Engineering, Compute Engineering or equivalent with 2 years or more relevant experience
  • Experience in process innovation, customized automation machine development, logistics system development preferred
  • Skill in logistics automation and integration an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills and team work essential
  • Mature, self-motivated and result-oriented with excellent time and project management skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
