Our client is one of a largest international banking with a strong presence globally. Due to increased business and revenue, they are growing their Relationship Management coverage within their Large Local Corporate segment

Description



This role is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of Hong Kong corporate relationships with the aim of achieving maximum return to the Bank globally as a whole



Job Responsibilities

  • Capable of discussing confidently and professionally with clients treasury management team, a wide range of bank products which cover capital market, derivative products, Mergers and Acquisition, global cash management, structured trade finance, insurance and asset management.






  • Lead and coordinate origination and execution of in country activities across the spectrum of Global Banking and Markets products and service.




  • To be conversant with the global or local Hong Kong economies and able to respond to business opportunity faster than the Banks competitors.




  • To be able to reach a balance in supporting development of customer relationship overseas and in protecting the local offices interests in terms of profit and credit quality.




  • By working closely with Credit Risk Management to ensure that all credits are in compliance of both internal and external requirements and to formulate or implement exit or rehabilitation strategies for substandard credits.




  • Aggressively grow Banks share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client or sector requirements










Profile



Education & Experience

  • Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting




  • Minimum 8 years of solid experience in relationship management within Corporate banking




  • Knowledge of accounting, loan documentation and relevant legal proceedings




  • Proven ability to gain substantial business for the Group across a full range of products




  • Proven track record of building and developing long term relationships including at key decision maker level for all clients




  • Portfolio management skills




  • Strong self motivation and leadership skills




  • Strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation








Skills & Abilities

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese






  • A great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills




  • Able to motivate the team and provide solutions with positive thinking




  • Hardworking, responsible and able to work under pressure




  • Strong problem solving skills
