Job Responsibilities:

  • Alternative Investment Fund operation: Knowledge and experience in full operational cycle on Alternative Investment Funds
  • Ensure the daily operations workflows are implemented and executed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure related operating procedures/manuals are adhered to regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Liaison with both internal parties (i.e. L&C, Investment, Product, Risk, Finance, Sales and Outsource affiliate entities) and external partners (e.g. fund administrator, distributors, service providers) for ensuring the smoothness of fund launching and daily operations
  • Ensure all operation issues are solved in timely manner and well recorded
  • Provide support to the Company with regards to new products and new businesses
  • Assist in compiling, review and update various operations policies and procedures on regular basis
  • Responsible for system enhancement/establishment for existing products / flows
  • Monitor the quality of service delivered by the services providers and outsource internal affiliate entities
  • Potential exposure to financial market/fund operations
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned


Job Requirements:

Education and Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related disciplines
  • Qualified CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum: 5 years (or 7 years for Senior) of operations experience in fund house, with in-depth knowledge in fund accounting / fund administration / reconciliation and data management experience
  • Preferred:

- Strong alternative investment product/instrument and fund operation knowledge
- Efficient on Excel user; knowledge on VBA Macro programming is an advantage
- Vendor management experience is an advantage
- Project management experience, especially on system enhancement and development involving cross-function collaboration is an advantage

  • Understanding of the full cycle of middle/back office functions in fund house is preferred
  • Attention to details with ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and be vigilant to abnormalities
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and learn in face paced environment and meet tight deadlines of various ad hoc projects
  • Strong analytical skills, able to prioritize multi-tasking and time management
  • Ready to work in a dynamic, fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Fluent in English and Chinese including Mandarin in terms of both writing and verbal communication skills
