Client Description

As the Business Development Manager HR Consulting, you will be heading and leading the HR Consulting division of Gemini, meeting various needs and supporting key business objectives in the area of coaching, training and outplacement services with a focus on networking and business development. Gemini Personnel offers proven HR solutions to our clients’ unique challenges, including employee engagement and satisfaction, leadership development, outplacement coaching and employee assessments, and implementation of succession planning, performance management. The role is also responsible for the furtherance of business for Gemini Personnel, providing Human Resource services to clients and to design solutions for the clients and their employees with a wide array of value-added benefits and services. The successful applicant will have a strong sense of initiative and is excited to learn, share and collaborate with the global team, customer-focused and with the ability to provide critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Group General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Development and growth of the (regional) HR Consulting division
  • Build a network of freelancers for the delivery of coaching, training, personality assessments and outplacements of candidates
  • Provision of HR Consulting services, including the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports to clients
  • Intergroup collaboration with the global team, sharing knowledge and develop products, policies, and marketing materials
  • Act as the first point of contact for our clients and partners

 

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Solid Business Development experience in professional/business services industry
  • Entrepreneurial, result-driven and able to work independently
  • Maturity and ability to connect easily with people and manage relationships
  • Strong influencing and relationships building skills, proactive, forward thinking, empathetic and ability to understand people's real drivers
  • Knowledge of the local employment market and familiar with Hong Kong labour law
  • Experience in provision of career advice, HR consulting services and/or personality assessment tools (ICF, MBTI, DISC, etc.) is preferred
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Cantonese and Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage.
