Our client is a leading well-established global healthcare company. They are looking for a talented Brand Manager to join their thriving business in Hong Kong.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business and marketing plans for assigned brands including implementation strategies, and develop mid to longer term financial plans.
  • Collaborate with other functional counterparts and external agencies to develop/implement best class marketing campaign (Media, Creative, Digital, Design, etc.) within the given marketing budget.
  • Monitor performance, evaluate effectiveness of marketing activities, make continuous improvement, and control P&I budget.
  • Build insight from global category trends and local consumer needs, develop innovation pipeline for portfolio expansion.
  • Monitor activities & performance such as brand planning, pricing, promotions, merchandising, buying, and stock management.
  • Gain strong understanding of the regulatory, medical and manufacturing environments for the brand. Build relationships with key contacts in each of the areas. Work with functional counterparts to ensure that brand registrations and product manufacturing are in line with brand objectives and comply with relevant statutory and governing authorities.
  • Work with global brand team on possible adaptation or deployment of global brand activations to ensure maximum utilization of resources and budgets, and for local brand strategy alignment and global success model sharing.
  • Conduct primary market research with proper market research agencies with clear objective setting and result analysis, and reflect the learnings on the brand plan accordingly.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, Marketing or Business related major preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years working experience in brand management in consumer good industry (FMCG or Consumer Health) with knowledge of main successful consumer communication activities.
  • Proven track record in planning and implementing of brand strategies independently.
  • Be able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, independent and result-oriented.
  • Excellent negotiation skill and inter-personal skill.
  • Timely, effective and proactive response to problems and issues.
  • Self-motivated and act as a good team player.
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated compliance with legal requirements about Industry code in Hong Kong.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
