Our client is a well known High-end Designer Brands conglomerate. Owing to business expansion, they are currently looking for retail store manager based in Hong Kong.


Responsibilities:

- Merchandise analysis: monitor sales and margin and communicate with retail and operation manager; analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales reports to improve future purchase decisions.
- Merchandise/inventory management:
1)Assure sales, margin and inventory plans meet the budget;
2)assure the flow of merchandise to maintain a balance of freshness, styling, and seasonality by category;
3)Assist in inventory management to optimize inventory turn and aging;
4)Track sales trends and execute the timely implementation of clearance and liquidation strategies to sell out seasonal products;
5)Determine appropriate timing of initial and replenishment deliveries based on merchandising and logistical considerations;
6)Monitor inventory productivity, and analysis of vendor profitability;
- Develop assortment plans in units and work closely with the operation team to achieve sales, margin, turnover, and visual merchandising objectives;
- Manage the purchase process;
- Strategize anticipated product demand based on the timing of markdowns and holidays;
- Utilize data to understand buys based on historical sales data and seasonal trends;
- Assist in the development of yearly sales promotion plans with merchandising and marketing Dept;
- Manage and develop assistant buyers;
- Monitor competitor movements, communicate & collect shop feedbacks and contribute to giving feedback to HQ regarding the local market needs.
- Lead the seasonal product training in-store, mix & match and transfer the Brand image to store associate, being a role model for product presentation and brand DNA.
- Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
- Monitor market trends, product distribution,research consumer markets, and competitors’ activities
- Work closely with the Retail Marketing team and PR & Communication team on providing product support/advice for Marketing activities, Photo shooting, press conferences, and celebrities outfits or in-store events like trunk shows, etc

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in retail merchandising, fashion buyer, or related field.
- 3+ years full buyer position experiences in fashion retail industry;
- Fluently in English and Mandarin.
