POSITION SUMMARY

The Branding and Communications Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing branding and communications strategies for Lovense and its affiliated companies. Based in either our Hong Kong or Guangzhou offices, the Branding and Communications Manager works closely with the Marketing team on conceptualizing brand concepts and elevating the brand experience via internal and external touch points. The successful candidate possesses a proven track record and a natural ability to clearly articulate and communicate brand concepts and stories to both internal and external stakeholders.

The candidate also has a depth of experience in developing and delivering a compelling brand narrative. She/he has successfully launched, established, and maintained leading brands and related communications campaigns. The candidate must be hands-on, have great communication and presentation skills, and demonstrate a natural curiosity and inner drive.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify ideas, concepts, stories, and visuals that will help differentiate our brand and make our story and information resonate with target audiences in alignment with our global Marketing plan
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop Lovense’s overall brand architecture and transform brand concepts into actionable campaigns
  • Communicate the brand story and key messages to external and internal audiences including the media, partners, distributors, resellers, and customers, as well as Lovense employees
  • Leverage media relationships to deliver coverage for priority campaigns and position the company according to the Marketing plan
  • Respond rapidly to emerging crises, escalating appropriately and advising on reputational risk issues and solutions for mitigation
  • Monitor media coverage and industry news to provide timely news summary to stakeholders
  • Effectively managing agencies and ensure quality deliverables
  • Provide support to Chief Marketing Officer as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in marketing, branding and/or communications, client or agency side
  • International media relationships are a strong plus but not required
  • A storyteller with good communication skills and Native English language capability
  • Broad knowledge of communications trends and international best practices
  • Detail-oriented with strong storytelling and presentation skills and ability to produce clear, engaging narrative
  • Strong interpersonal skills and gravitas with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage independently and deal with ambiguity and high-pressure situations
  • International experience strongly preferred

 

Successful applicants who are Hong Kong-based will need to work out of our Guangzhou office for one month, following which he/she will then regularly report to work at Lovense’s Hong Kong office.
