Business Analyst – Global Retail Group (Hong Kong)

Our client, a global retail group, is looking for a Business Analyst for their Hong Kong office.

Role Profile

Role Title: Business Analyst

Reporting to: Business Improvement Manager

Location: Hong Kong 

 

Role Purpose

Analyse information and investigate the goals and issues of a company. Advise on how to improve the efficiency and finances of the organisation and take responsibility for figuring out the needs of the company. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review the Scope/Requirement documents to understand the goals that the
    new/changed business processes and applications need to meet.
  • Schedule and conduct interview meetings with stakeholders and business users to
    further understand the current state and the future requirements.
  • Complete the definition of business process details:
  • Identify the process trigger
  • Identify the process inputs and outputs
  • Identify the process outcomes
  • Identify the tasks required to achieve the final outcome
  • Identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement – both quick wins and longterm changes
  • Identify and document supporting processes
  • Understand the client organisation, focusing on roles that are affected
  • Act as a role model for other business analysts in terms of delivering business value
  • Drive system training to internal & external users

 

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3 years of experience in business/data analysis in a Multinational environment
  • Experience handling large volumes of data from system
  • Proficient in IT Programming language
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, team skills and problem-solving skill for
    internal customers
  • Well-versed in MS office applications
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English
