JOB SUMMARY

Reporting under Strategy, Alliance and Analytics Department in Retail Banking Division, design/revamp and deliver business performance trackers as well as in-depth sales and customer insights for devising strategic directions. Also collaborate with Group Customer Analytics and Decisioning to build analytics models to identify targeted cross-selling opportunities across segments and business lines.

 

The candidate needs to work with specific SME and/or Consumer Banking client groups to understand their business challenges and identify areas where customer analytics techniques could help them overcome these challenges and realize new opportunities. S/he will support planning, development, execution, and tracking of Data Driven Marketing activity across all channels, and develop data-driven actionable customer insights to support marketing, sales and service communications. S/her is also able to deliver effective presentation and communication with the skills to summarize analytic findings to both technical and non-technical audience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver across business financial insights under Retail Banking Division;
  • Analyze large volume of data and apply advanced statistical models or techniques to identify business opportunities and facilitate formulation of relevant business strategy;
  • Develop next best action for different target customer segments according to relationship life-cycle;
  • Identify, formulate and monitor the key performance metrics to improve the business and sales performance;
  • Develop data visualization to discover trends/patterns, spot outliers/gaps, and identify business drivers;
  • Streamline and automate internal processes to ensure efficient and effective data generation and analytics processes are in place.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or above on statistics or computer science, Business Management degree is preferred;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in business analytics, preferably under with SME or Consumer Banking franchise in a banking environment;
  • SAS EG & Excel Macro, Powerpoint, Qlikview, Tableau;
  • Team player, self-driven with good interpersonal skills;
  • Good presentation and communication skills;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
