Description

Business Continuity Management

• Strategic planning on business continuity and the implementation of the business continuity management framework for the bank
• Coordinate and support crisis management team for all activities regarding business disruption, emergencies, crisis and catastrophes which have significant business impact
• Support the regular review of business continuity options across business functions; conduct business impact analysis for identifying the relevant critical functions and recovery time objective; identify any gaps on time recovery for required technology components and interdependencies on intra-business functions
• Coordinate routine updates in supporting the business continuity procedures as per head office's reporting schedule
• Administer and maintain the service level agreement with business continuity service provider
• Identify improvements on business continuity, pandemic and crisis management to ensure the readiness and effectiveness to deal with potential changes in social, environmental and pandemic situation etc
• Liaise and design regular crisis simulation exercise and business continuity test for all relevant business functions and ensure the BC Plans are successfully tested; complete the remediation of any shortfalls; document and report on results
• Ensure all personnel with specific business continuity responsibilities are adequately trained and ensure staff are familiar with the bank's BC procedures
• Ensure compliance of all related policies and regulatory requirements on business continuity planning
• Conduct regular internal control assessments on BCM and ensure proper documentation on control requirements
• Liaise with head office on all business continuity related matters
• Support audits and internal/external reviews

Personnel & Physical Security

• Manage the development and implementation of global and local physical security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures, emergency and incident response
• Support and maintain physical security systems, including access control, intrusion and fire protection devices, CCTVs
• Review and monitor physical access rights and security logs
• Responsible for designing and building the physical security system for any new office locations
• Manage the physical security vendor and contractor services
• Liaise with head office on all physical security related matters
• Conduct regular internal control assessments on physical security and ensure proper documentation on control requirements
• Conduct staff awareness training on physical security when required
• Maintain the clear desk policy and the relevant escalation and disciplinary framework, conduct periodic control to ensure staff compliant to the policy
• Manage ad hoc projects as directed by management

Profile

• University degree or equivalent education
• 3-5 years relevant working experience, preferably in financial industry
• Well versed with Business Continuity Management and knowledge of physical security systems preferred
• General knowledge of auditing, compliance processes and risk management
• Structured and team oriented
• Attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
• Systematic, high integrity and commitment
• Excellent writing skills and ability to prepare clear, concise reports with minimal supervision
• Ability to lead initiatives, take ownership and manage implementation
• Proficient in PC applications
