The Role:

The Business Controller/ Regional Credit Controller will work closely with the Assistant Regional Financial Controller in coordinating with countries’ finance team and management and driving for the targets and improving the regional financial operations for APAC, Middle East and Africa.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Assistant Regional Financial Controller;
  • Responsible and driving to achieve the working capital KPIs (Accounts Receivables & Billing) within the region;
  • Monitor the A/R collection status within the region;
  • Compiling reports regularly and provide analysis for senior management review and decision;
  • Review and enhance receivables workflow, proactive in establishing best practices for the region;
  • Perform cash management for the region. Coordinate with Group on funding requests and prepare cash flow forecasts;
  • Manage of intercompany loans within the region and Group;
  • Provide support and advice on accounting systems, assist in the integration process and the system changeover for the region;
  • Prepare ad hoc tasks, analyses and work on special projects as assigned;
  • Occasion travel may be required.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline;
  • At least 5 years collection or credit control experience. Candidate with less experience but having potential may also be considered;
  • Experience in treasury function is advantageous;
  • Energetic, self-starter, and result-oriented;
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply sound business judgment;
  • Experience in multinational corporate environment with matrix structure;
  • Excellent communication skills and can work with different cultures and levels;
  • Good command in spoken & written English;
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Hyperion or OneStream knowledge is definitely an advantage;
  • Willing to work under pressure & fast pace environment, deliver results and meet tight deadlines.
