We are growing our business with the aim to achieve a digitally optimised construction site in the near future. As a separate entity of the Gammon Group, one of Hong Kong’s largest contractors, we are supported by local and international construction knowledge, giving us the capability to identify digital tools that will redefine the industry. Digital solutions are increasingly addressing shortfalls in the construction industryand provide tremendous potential to positively influence its growth and development. We are using these solutions to make the building process safer, more efficient and less labour intensive, allowing better decision-making and increased profit margins. As well as commercializing and taking our own in-house developed innovations to the wider market, we also represent those of start-ups, specialist groups, and universities.  

We are currently looking for Business Development Executive to work with the Business Development Manager and provide operational support to customers. Supporting sales and ensuring the benefits and values of Digital G’s products are delivered will be key. You will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Business Development Manager on operational and sales tasks;
  • Develop business and expand customer base for Digital G’s products;
  • Manage day-to-day business operations of Digital G, including service delivery and finance;
  • Assist in CRM through after-sale follow-ups of add-on or additional services;
  • Assist in collating use-cases and values/benefits for the company portfolio;
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external companies such as start-ups to develop new business opportunities e.g. new apps/technologies or new features to existing products.  

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Marketing disciplines, with minor in business is an advantage;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience;
  • With experience in Construction / Engineering projects is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of digitization / innovation technologies in the construction sector is an advantage;
  • Strong analytical mind with good customer presentation skills;
  • Interest / with experience in a customer-facing role;
  • Interest in working in a start-up environment;
  • Result-orientated and rapport-building;
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
