Established since 2005, TAL was founded to develop the distribution business after a brief success in the online retailing business of SampsonStore.com. The first and major brand in our development is Sagami from Japan. Back then Hong Kong is the first overseas market of Sagami with the flagship product sagami original 0.02 PU condom. TAL took care of the distribution to major key accounts including Mannings, Watsons, 7-Eleven, Circle-K and other retailers.
As of 2010, Hong Kong became the single largest market of Sagami in South East Asia. As of 2015, Hong Kong became the largest overseas market globally following Japan. At the same year, Sagami is the only condom brand with both quantity and value growth that way outperform all market leaders.
In 2009, TAL represented pjur group from Germany for the high quality personal lubricant and spray in Hong Kong and South East Asia; TAL started to represented Tenga in 2016 and LELO in 2018 in Hong Kong.
Besides distribution, TAL also provides full range of brand development including marketing campaign, joint promotion with local organizations, event management and brand strategic planning.
TAL has expanded our services and started distribution of Sagami and pjur in Taiwan in 2015, Singapore in 2018 and UK in 2019.

Do you have a passion in this interesting business arena and to liberate the general view on sexual well-being products? Yet to face the challenge in teasing customers on condom, personal lubricant and even adult toys in the modern retail trade outlets? A bigger challenge yet, we will work it in a global scale, working in markets including at least Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and UK. Successful candidate will join our team to develop and enhance our market focused in the emerging sexual well-being products.
Duties
Manage sexual well-being items - condom, lubricant and adult toys.
Formulate distribution strategy - modern trade, general trade, online platforms.
Formulate pricing strategy on different products in different markets.
Work out marketing theme with marketing department.
Manage listing and promotion execution; negotiate trading terms.
Prepare sales and competitive analysis and report to senior management.
Build and maintain a good relationships with assigned key accounts.
Identify opportunities and collect market intelligence.
Work for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and UK markets in the first 3 years (working based in Hong Kong), regular travelling is required.
Manage suppliers from Japan, Germany, Malaysia, US and China.

Requirements
Must be a Hong Kong resident.
Must possess and demonstrate excellent skill in two of the below areas:
  • Domain knowledge - Possess in-depth knowledge in sexual well-being products. Understand what kind of products are possible candidate for the mass market. The kinds of products sell best and attract repeat purchases. Working experience in this domain must be more than 3 years to claim having a domain knowledge.
  • Industry knowledge - Deep understanding of FMCG in modern trade system including the buyer decision process, promotion mechanics, trading terms dynamics, merchandising handling etc. At least 3 years working experience in a key-chain or 5 years working experience as a FMCG supplier is a must to claim having an industry knowledge.
  • Market knowledge - Local working experience in our markets including Taiwan, Singapore and/or UK. Must have in-depth understanding in the local culture, market trend, media use, customer behavior, online purchase habit etc. At least 3 years local working experience in our overseas market is a must to claim a market knowledge.
  • E-commerce knowledge - Extensive experience in ecommerce online shop operation and marketing; hands on experience in working with shopping platforms like hktvmall, amazon, lazada, pchome or alike.
