Job Responsibilities:

  • Take a sales driven role to achieve the annual sales targets and generate new sales revenue for the company
  • Act as a business partner to Carriers, MVNO, OTT and Telecom Re-sellers for all connectivity products (SMS, Voice, Numbers).
  • Define and execute the procurement strategy while enabling sales by providing market intelligence and pricing
  • Own the P&L for all connectivity products (Voice, SMS, Numbers) in the wholesale market
  • Maintain relationships with international carriers, mobile operators and aggregators, taking care that contractual commitments are fulfilled on spec, time, budget and quality
  • Proactively monitor & manage supplier performance
  • Play a proactive role in working closely with technical and marketing teams for business development
  • Report regularly the sales performance to the management

  Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years’ sales/business development experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Wholesale telecommunications experience required with knowledge of the A2P SMS and/or Voice industry
  • Well versed in the drafting and reviewing of a range of commercial contracts including bilateral agreements and swap deals 
  • Good understanding of Voice and/or SMS routing
  • Proven experience in selling to international carriers, mobile operators and aggregators.
  • Operational experience in telecommunications (Provisioning, Planning, Marketing, Project Management, Account Management or Contract Management).
  • Extensive regional contacts with carriers and other relevant market players
  • Strong sales DNA and able to create and close deal in a professional manner
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua speaking
  • Strong problem-solving skills with good business sense
  • Self-motivated and multi-tasking in fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Business Development Manager
