WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

To support the Business Innovation Manager, North Asia, and implement the new and innovative IKEA customer touch point’s ideation and establishment, and other projects to extend reach, enhance home furnishing inspiration, engage with more consumers, drive extra visitation to stores, and generate incremental revenue for DF IKEA North Asia markets.

 

1) Planning Involvement

  • Consolidate and study retail & home furnishing market intelligence and research data to facilitate new business opportunity and commercial potential identification, and business expansion strategy development
  • Plan and prepare the new projects, including idea generation, concept development, hypothesis preparation, budget project and financial & business analysis etc.

 

2) Resources & Budget Proposal and Monitoring

  • Coordinate with different internal functions and external partners and work with the Business Innovation Manager to prepare overall strategic plan, multi-dimensional business analysis, project and budget proposal. Keep close monitoring on the project's expenditure against the approved budget
  • Contribute in the innovation partner appointment process from partner's capability & sustainability assessment, to contract preparation till approval

 

3) Project Delivery and Operation

  • Collaborate and coordinate with the cross-functional project team members from internal and external to implement the projects, track the project status, and guarantee the objectives can be achieved efficiently and effectively
  • Prepare communication proposal with different marketing mix and in-store commercial activities to maximize the sustainable awareness, visitation, sales and profitability of the new projects
  • Upon the new project is set up, monitor the daily business operation, process flow, visitation number, sales figures, customer & co-worker satisfaction & relation, and other commercial performance against the agreed plan, and propose the action plan for improvement and sustainable development etc.

 

TOGETHER AS A TEAM

  • To deliver a new kind of home furnishing shopping journey and set up more customer meeting points to reach more of the many people
