We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Planning and Support Manager, 1 Year Contract.

In this role, you will

  • Prepare objectives, scorecards and commentary on progress and performance of all the Business Services and Chief Risk and Administration Office, for the Area Management Head Office Business Services Head ensuring alignment to Global views of the same.
  • Produce management reports, presentations, papers and periodic updates Research issues or areas of concern as directed by the Area Management Head Office Head of Business Services and deliver agreed actions from reports and recommendations.
  • Report on performance for Area Management Head Office, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to improve key performance indicators.
  • Support the production, management, tracking and reporting of strategic and annual plans.
  • Ensure alignment to Global Administration and Operational Management governance, strategy, standards and principals.
  • Ensure key meetings are governed appropriately through appropriate use of Operational Management Governance team with agenda, and that minutes and actions are documented and followed up. Take ownership for completion of actions that require management across the Entity.
  • Responsibility for the implementation of activity being driven through the entity as directed by the Head of Business Services including adhoc projects and attachments to individual Business Services Teams to undertake assigned projects and tasks.
  • Provide executive support to the executives assigned during various attachment through one to one support on a regular basis assisting in all aspects of their role.
  • Ensure alignment to Global Organisational Design and Governance strategy, standards and principals.
  • Enforce Organisational Design governance in the region including spans of control, layers and open positions through ownership of improvement in Regional area key performance indicators.
  • Ensure full documentation of all regular processes and procedures and continually seek improvements.
  • Identify ways to streamline activities both within the team and within the wider Global Operations function.
  • Implement Global Operations Frameworks, associated approved tools within Area Management Head Office Business Services.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the bank structures, processes and objectives across the Group.
  • Good knowledge of Global Operations both functionally and operationally.
  • High level of drive and motivation to ensure delivery of a broad range of outputs simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language.
  • Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
  • Strong understanding, analysing and interpreting skills when working with information.
  • Good problem solving ability and critical thinking.
  • Proven experience of delivering projects, across geographical areas and markets.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
