Our client is one of the leading insurance firms in the world.

Job Summary:

  • Analyzing user requirements, recommend business / technical solution, producing functional /design specification.
  • Coach and guide developers to coding and deliver the systems on time and with good quality.
  • Manage Model Office testing, User Acceptance testing and help on project implementation.


Main Accountabilities:

  • To develop business procedures and to define, gather and set parameters into core life administration system - Ingenium;
  • To help the development / project team to achieve required business results by removing roadblocks, providing options/opinions on issue resolution and help with understanding risks;
  • To identify system needs by working with users, and writes the specifications for the system requirements identified;
  • To conduct testing to ensure system can operate accurately, effectively, efficiently and according to requirement specification;
  • To establish detailed acceptance test procedures by joint testing with users, documentation of procedures and training of end-user on the system;
  • To handle ad-hoc assignments.


Qualifications:Competencies:

  • Business Analysis experience;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, particularly in integrating and recommending various complicated IT / business solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; spoken English and Chinese Customer and solution oriented; Works collaboratively with others, strong relationship building, in managing various business partners
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently. Strong planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to tactfully bring opinions, comments, thoughts forward;
  • Create an open and trusting environment by sharing information in a timely manner;

Adaptability: resilient, adjust quickly, maintains effectiveness throughout periods of change;

Assets:

  • Business experience, with a preference to insurance or financial institutions;
  • Good understanding of various IT platform, such as Ingenium, Client/Server system and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
  • Knowledge of industry business requirements and analysis best practices;
  • Good understanding of systems development methodologies;
  • Process improvement experience.
