Fair Employment Agency is a non-profit social business with a big ambition - We aim to reinvent the recruitment of migrant domestic helpers and end forced labour in Hong Kong. Fair Employment Agency

For too long, domestic helper employment agencies have been making money from doing a bad job. Employers are charged for bad customer service, while agencies secretly charge domestic helpers too. This illegal practice leaves domestic helpers in debt bondage and fails employers.

But at Fair we saw another way. We set up Fair Employment Agency in 2014 - a new kind of domestic helper agency that would not charge fees to workers. From a small, start-up idea four years ago, we now employ 20 full-time staff members, placing 100 domestic helpers a month, and have saved 2,700 domestic helpers over US$4.1 million in recruitment debt!

As demand for our business grows, we are expanding our team. We are now looking for a talented, friendly and energetic Operations Officer to join us. The Role

  • Manage end-to-end visa process
  • Communicate with employers and workers throughout the process
  • Track process and client engagement via our CRM system
  • Follow-up with both employers and workers post-service
  • Market FEA's services to prospective domestic workers and employers
  • Improve our service offerings by recommending new practices and policies


The Requirements

  • Team player with an upbeat, positive attitude with a knack for problem-solving
  • Ability to maintain composure and client/candidate focus
  • Belief in social change through business means and an ethical approach to labour migration
  • Proven communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese
  • University degree holder preferred but Not Required
  • Immediate availability
  • Customer service and/or sales experience is a plus - Most important is your willingness to learn and grow with our team, and your passion for helping others!
