You will be responsible for:

  • establishing a holistic approach and strategies for procurement, cost control and contracts administration of projects / works / services from district-wide perspective;
  • managing the proper and effective procurement, contracts administration and cost control of all projects / services assigned;
  • preparing and updating business plan / corporate Plan, budget review and cash flow forecast for proper cost control;
  • overseeing the interface with the government or other organisations in relation to the planning and development of areas within and outside WKCDA;
  • preparing and updating of WKCDA policies, procedures and departmental practice notes and guidelines; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned by the Authority.

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in quantity surveying or equivalent;
  • possess a professional membership of relevant institution;
  • have at least 15 years of post-qualification experience in procurement, costing and contracts administration in the construction industry in both private and public sectors;
  • preferably have experience in art and cultural facilities and alternative procurement vehicles like PFI / PPP; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
