Objectives of the Partnership Scheme:

  • To preserve and put historic buildings into good and innovative use.
  • To transform historic buildings into unique cultural landmarks.
  • To promote active public participation in the conservation of historic buildings.
  • To create job opportunities, in particular at the district level.

 

Reporting directly to the Board of Governors of the Foundation, the Chief Operating Officer will lead the implementation of the strategy in achieving the partnership objectives. He/She will oversee the operation of the TMSOF and control the progress of revitalising the historic buildings.

 

Applicants should have

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline;
  • Relevant experience in managing and administering a heritage revitalisation project in Hong Kong, preferably under ‘HKSAR Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme’;
  • Proven managerial ability and practical experience in the related field;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin/Chinese;
  • Strong leadership, team building and communication skills; and Great initiative and good problem solving abilities.
