In charge of the Stewarding team, the incumbent needs to be well organised and able to lead the team in ensuring the department's efficiency and productivity. Maintain an organized and clean back of house area in Food & Beverage by providing all kitchens, outlets and banqueting with up to standard's equipment based on expected business levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily operations of the stewarding department
  • Oversees maintenance and proper storage of kitchen equipment and cleaning of utensils acoording to hotel's standards of hygiene and presentation
  • Excellent knowledge in hygiene management and cleaning chemicals, review hotel sanitation and hygiene standards meeting governmental rules and regulations
  • Supervises the pest control together with service provider / contractor and provide feedback for improvement when needed
  • Communicate with suppliers of operational equipment to get information of new products and quotations
  • Supervises overnight cleaning of the back of house areas
  • Provide training to ensure stewarding team fully follows the operational procedures meeting HACCP standards

Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Stewarding with 2-3 years in supervisory capacity
  • Tertiary in education level 
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Good in spoken / written English & Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Able to motivate the team
