The Requirements are :

  • Process and settle Marine Cargo Insurance Claims
  • Conduct claims assessment for insurance companies
  • Evaluate the claims as according to the insurance policy
  • Appoint surveyor to investigate the cause of loss and the loss amount
  • Coordination of survey (inspection of cargo) with local/global surveyors
  • Reporting surveyor's findings to the insurance companies
  • Set and monitor claims reserve adequately from time to time
  • Prepare claims report and handle enquiries from claimants and insurers
  • Maintain good relationship with clients and insurers
  • Handle other ad-hoc projects as required
  • Tertiary education with possesses recognized insurance professional qualification is an advantage
  • Min 3 years' General Insurance Claims experience is highly preferred, with Marine Cargo Claims experience is an advantage
  • With knowledge in Marine Cargo Insurance
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Able to work independently and under work pressure
  • Self-motivated with excellent communicaton and interpersonal skills
  • A good team player and customer-oriented
  • IMMEDIATE AVAILABLE is highly preferred
