is a start-up, social business with a big ambition. We are here to reinvent domestic helper recruitment and we are looking for talented and ambitious change-makers to join our growing team. Fair Employment Agency

For too long, employment agencies have been making money from doing a bad job. Employers are charged for bad customer service, while agencies secretly charge domestic helpers too. This illegal practice leaves domestic helpers in debt bondage and it fails employers.

But we saw another way. We set up Fair Employment Agency in 2014 - a new kind of domestic helper agency that would not charge fees to workers. From a small, start-up idea three years ago, we now employ 20 full time staff members, are placing 100 domestic helpers a month, and have saved more than 2000 domestic helpers an estimated US$2.7 million in recruitment debt.

As demand for our business grows, we are expanding our team. We are now looking for a talented, friendly and energetic Client Relations Officer to join us.

As the face of the business, you build clients’ trust as the skilled expert in matching employers with great domestic workers. As the primary point of contact you use strong problem solving skills to guide prospective employers and domestic workers throughout the hiring process. With your people-skill brilliance and attentive nature, you make clients and candidates happy with great matches.

The Role

  • Market FEA services to clients and candidates
  • Interview and evaluate clients and candidates who have applied to use our services
  • Match potential employees and employers and organise interviews
  • Record customer engagement via our Client Relationship Management system
  • Follow-up with both employers and workers post-service
  • Improve our service offerings by recommending new policies and practices

Requirements  

  • A team player with upbeat, positive attitude with a knack for problem solving
  • Ability to maintain composure and client/candidate focus
  • Belief in social change through business means and an ethical approach to labour migration
  • Proven communication, interpersonal and presentation skills  (verbal and written)
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese. 
  • University degree holder preferred but not required

Customer service and/or sales experience is a plus - what’s more important, however, is your willingness to learn and grow with our team and your passion for helping others.
