Responsibilities:  

  • prepare and edit all publication materials, including but not limited to brochures and pamphlets of the University and academic programmes, speeches, contents and subtitles of videos, etc.;
  • conduct interviews and content write-ups independently;
  • ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all information and materials released to the public, and the data integrity of the University website by proof-reading and updating the contents regularly; and
  • provide support and assistance to all activities initiated / organised by the Communications and Public Affairs Office.

 

 

Applicants should: 

  • possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Literature, Translation, Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or related disciplines;
  • have at least 10 years of work experience in editing and copywriting / publications / event management;
  • have proven success in writing professional copy;
  • have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), and be able to translate from one to the other;
  • have strong administrative, communication and inter-personal skills;
  • be able to work independently and efficiently; and
  • be creative, well-organised, meticulous and a good team player.

 

Working outside normal office hours may be required.  Applicants with work experience in the higher education sector will be an advantage.
