Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control periodic financial crime risk assessment, implementing monitoring measures, identify exceptions and implement remediation action with business and operational units
  • Ensure compliance with application laws and regulations. Keep abreast on new regulations and to update management and staff on changes in regulation
  • Advise business and functions on Financial Crime Compliance issues, and control related matters
  • Assist in preparing regulatory compliance policies and guidelines
  • Conduct training on FCC issues and promotes compliance awareness and culture
  • Assist in preparing relevant compliance reports, minutes and/or regulatory returns to senior management, the HKMA and other law enforcement units
  • Perform FCC compliance testing and controls, to drive and participate in AML and transaction monitoring project ensuring the accomplishment of the department’s mission

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or above with major in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in banking/ finance/ payment industry
  • Good knowledge on rules and regulations related to banking and financial institutions including Banking Ordinance, Code of Banking Practice, Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and other relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Well-versed with rules and regulations related to VISA/ MasterCard/ UnionPay/ banking and financial institutions
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with good knowledge of application software

 

Applicants for the above positions must be proficient in spoken & written Chinese (including Mandarin) & English, and be competent in MS Office applications
