Compliance Officer - Insurance Industry

• Provide daily compliance support for ongoing business requirements
• Perform compliance review and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of controls to address compliance risksin the organization's sales practices, investment, marketing and operational processes
• Monitor new and proposed legislation, regulations and guidelines that could impact the operations and communicate such changes to the business units in an effective way
• Review and maintain the monitoring system to comply with relevant regulations and internal guidelines and policies
• Develop compliance training materials to enhance compliance awareness and promote a culture of compliance across the business
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Law or related disciplines
• 2- 3 years of relevant experience in compliance management or audit with financial institution is an advantage
• Familiar with legal and regulatory requirements of insurance industry
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently as well as a team player
• Strong command of written and spoken Chinese and English
