Information Technology Services Centre
The Information Technology Services Centre is looking for a Computer Officer I (carrying the job title of ‘Project Manager’) to oversee the development of new University initiatives.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or equivalent; (ii) at least seven years’ postgraduate working experience in IT infrastructure, including at least five years at a supervisory level; (iii) experience in developing and managing computer network, IT systems and endpoint devices; (iv) familiarity with information security, email, cloud solutions, identity management and modern workplace infrastructure; (v) good organisational, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and (vi) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Putonghua and Cantonese). Work experience in CISCO networking equipment, Palo Alto firewall, AD, Office 365, and VDI is preferred.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) leading a core IT team to collect, document and consolidate user requirements; (b) proposing front end business solution and back end IT infrastructure solution; (c) collaborating with user departments and external parties; and (d) overseeing the deployment and implementation of the solutions.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one or two years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
