Job Responsibilities:

  • To provide operational and administrative support in facilitating the provision of nominee services;
  • To propose appropriate policy or operational flow changes for custodial and nominee related matters to enhance operational efficiency with proper internal controls in place;
  • To manage a team of staff in performing routine operational duties, identify exceptional cases and contingency situations and escalate to management;
  • To identify areas for improvement in service quality to participants;
  • To participate and assist in cross-departmental projects or initiatives;
  • To identify areas for changes to existing legal documents and make appropriate proposals; and
  • To carry out relevant study or analysis as required.

 

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines;
  • Knowledge of clearing / settlement /nominees / custodial operations in Hong Kong and overseas (preferably Mainland market) and familiar with the regulatory framework and related legislations;
  • At least 7 years’ relevant working experience (e.g. back, middle and front office securities operations), of which at least 4 years at management level, in well-established financial organization;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; and
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
