Founded in 1908, Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. (Stock codes: A shares 601328, H shares 03328) is one of the banks with the longest history and was one of the note-issuing banks in China in the past. Bank of Communications started its business operation after its re-establishment in 1987. It is the first nationwide state-owned joint-stock commercial bank in China, with its head office located in Shanghai. The Bank was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in June 2005 and on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in May 2007. The Bank currently has 224 domestic branches, comprising 30 tier-1 branches, 7 branches directly managed by the Head Office and 187 tier-2 branches.   • Monitoring the centralized business processing functions for the Bank, including cheque verifications as well as system enhancement
  • Participating and contributing in on-going operation enhancement projects to streamline workflow and provide better support to frontline business units
  • Supervise the maintenance of Customer status, reply the Customer Information to the Institution required, Bank Confirmation.         
  • Assist in the regular updating of the regulations, rules, and guidelines

  • Familiar with banking operations and related policies, legal, and regulatory
  • Familiar with cheque clearing , system enhancement and settlement process will be an advantage
  • Management capacity, self-initiated, analytical-minded, and able to handle multi-tasks under tight schedule
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
  • Degree holder with major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Banking or financial industry , experience in operations management at supervisory level is preferred
  • Proficient in computer applications (e.g. Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing
