Accountabilities – Key Result Areas

  • Requires an expert in digital solutions and platforms and will be highly visible across the business.
  • Provide business-side leadership around digital transformation efforts, playing a key role in defining next generation of online marketing tools.
  • Research, trial, implement, manage and optimize marketing technologies to enable achievement of departmental and company-wide business objectives.
  • Manage the marketing technology stack including selecting solutions, integrating them into existing systems and processes, and providing support for their use by cross-functional teams.
  • Translate evolving business vision into systems strategies by driving the architecture, design and implementation of our next generation digital environment including platform enhancements and marketing solutions.
  • Lead solution evaluations with appropriate stakeholders to define business requirements and influence technical specifications to ensure tools and systems effectively enable marketing operations.
  • Pursue the most innovative and cost-effective online solutions to meet business needs.
  • Hand-off new capabilities and marketing touch point technology to ensure successful mainstreaming and optimization for marketing performance.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with all levels of management to evangelize digital solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships with various external partners.

 

Experience / Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of digital solution management, or related experience is required.
  • Experience designing web architecturesoperating within a multi-vendor delivery environment and partnering across multiple business, engineering and product teams including gathering requirements and working across matrix organizations to deliver results.
  • Knowledge of emerging digital concepts and trends with the ability to translate that knowledge into actionable recommendations.
  • Desire to maintain technical expertise and hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies.
  • Consulting, publishing and/or agency experience in driving online platform transformations for web, mobile web and app, content management and search related technologies.
  • Experience with various content management systems, digital platforms, online solutions, and middle-ware applications.
  • Demonstrated team player with ability to coordinate multiple projects within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment across large, distributed teams in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to workloads and changing working conditions.
