Digital Performance Manager is responsible for leading and managing agency resources to the delivery of high quality service and digital solutions so that all client needs are met on time, to budget and to the highest standards of service. Reporting into the Head of Business Development & Strategy, you will assist in developing short and long term strategies for the client. You will be supported by subordinates (up to 9) and are responsible for contributing to their development.


Business Development & Driving Agency Growth

  • Support the management team in prospecting clients and revenue tracking to drive the agency to achieving growth and revenue targets.
  • Contribute in developing new products and ways of working to drive sustained agency growth
  • Developing strategic partnerships with various publishers and suppliers to drive better support and commercial agreements.
  • Play an active role in various trade and industry events including participating in relevant industry awards to build the reputation in Hong Kong and on a regional level.
  • Help in strategic input, preparation for and attend business pitches as required


Strategic Performance Marketing

  • Be at the forefront of Digital knowledge (focusing on Display, Social, Analytics) by keeping up to date with industry news and developments
  • Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels (SEM, SEO, CRO) and the potential for them in your clients marketing activity
  • Contribute in developing new products and ways of working to drive sustained agency growth
  • Establish an understanding of all areas of expertise and the products/services we can provide to your clients
  • Help in preparation for and attend business pitches as required


Leadership & Management

  • Become Lead of the “Display & Paid Social” business stream, driving growth and best practices, working proactively with Head of Business Development & Strategy and regional/ global teams to roll out key initiatives including Programmatic expertise and related programs
  • Play a proactive and leading role within the agency to drive a culture of learning and innovation
  • Lead the day to day client relationship, campaign or project development and execution for key clients
  • Set and manage expectations of client and internal teams, especially to ensure company has the optimal time scale to deliver quality work and service
  • Develop your presence, your perception as authority/ expert
  • Be a master of our internal process
  • Prepare and lead performance review presentations
  • Lead development of regular results and resources analysis and reporting, recommendations and presentations 


Client Relationships

  • Develop positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the objectives of the client’s business and the goals of the client
  • Work to understand your client’s pressures and internal demands ensuring to provide the right response at the right time in the right manner
  • Achieve a level of relationship with your clients whereby they trust and value your opinions and advice on their digital marketing activity


People Management

  • Actively nurture the goal of making an enjoyable and extraordinary place for staff to work and for clients to engage with
  • Develop the skills and knowledge of the subordinates through mentoring, supervision and providing continual feedback on performance
  • Delegate the appropriate tasks and the appropriate amount of tasks to ensure an acceptable workload
  • Identify opportunities for subordinates to take ownership of tasks or projects – under your supervision – to aid in her/his development; give adequate room for them to grow within their roles and eventually beyond
  • Carry out performance appraisals



  • 4+ years of demonstrated success in leading an account team in the digital media industry
  • Preferably with client management experience, working on large, integrated accounts
  • Excellent knowledge and passion for digital
  • Fluent English & Cantonese speaker
  • Strong client-facing skills: understanding client needs, maintaining relationships, building partnerships
  • Communicates effectively at all levels, both up and down
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work in high-pressure environment and resolve client issues
