We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Release and Change Analyst

In this role, you will

  • ​Support activities from initial engagement through to ongoing feature enablement supporting all business readiness activity.
  • Ensuring markets are fully equipped to undertake all business readiness activity associated with an individual release of new features including training, communications, pilot testing, operational impact assessment, DCE checklists, procedures, MI, ensuring all relevant stakeholders have provided relevant sign off, release approach.
  • Support customer and staff pilots where required.
  • Support activities including management of implementation activities, live proving and running Command and Control meetings to ensure successful delivery of digital releases.
  • Support delivery of local training deliverables to markets contact centre or network to support releases.
  • Support the Senior Digital Release Manager and Senior Digital Change Manager through all activities outlined in role summary and any other activities deemed necessary and relevant.
  • Provide support to local markets covering internal and external communications, operational impact and training or migration and implementation approach definition, providing consistent support and materials that maximize reuse.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement, process refinement and seeking efficiency. 
  • Support markets with delivery of HSBC Digital Solutions digital initiatives and digital Key Performance Indicators through supporting feature enablement and ensuring local market benefits are realised.
  • Ensure that project activities are delivered within the agreed budget
  • The role holder will work with Release Management, Change Management, Global Digital Product Owners, Transformation and other delivery areas such as Cross Functional Teams, regional Information Technology.
  • Actively engaged with local Digital teams and their business stakeholders, to ensure digital change is embedded.
  • Proactive management of digital initiatives highlighting and taking action to mitigate risks and issues, ensuring deliveries are on time and to quality standards with minimal disruption.
  • Work with Senior Business Release Managers and Senior Digital Change Managers to ensure that all activity to support release of new features is planned and governed to time or quality.
  • Passionate about the change agenda and a role model across the stakeholder group.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise across all areas of responsibility.
  • Actively share knowledge and seek opportunities to showcase delivery success.
  • Ensure change control and governance aligned to bank standards and replicated throughout deliveries to ensure key responsibilities meet Functional Instruction Manual requirements such as DCE Checklist.
  • Ensure clear roles and responsibilities are met and that individual and team ownership of tasks meets agreed timeline.
  • Identify key risks, issues and interdependencies and provide appropriate mitigation strategies or escalation as appropriate.
  • Support audit or independent programme assessments as required.
  • Ensure HSBC is not put at any operational or reputational Risk. 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Experience of working directly with individual markets or a region to support local business readiness activity needed for delivery of digital change.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities and the ability to lead and influence.
  • Strong planning and governance skills.
  • Subject Matter Expertise of digital channels, including technical, market place and customer considerations.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in internal or external communications, operational impact assessment, training, migration and implementation planning.
  • Strong commercial focus, ability to balance risks versus rewards and maximize cost effectiveness and profitability for the business.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues.
  • Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on data and understand the implications.
  • Good understanding of project methodologies, frameworks and best practice
  • Ability to take a portfolio view and effectively manage multiple market deliveries and releases whilst ensuring each project runs effectively.
  • Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across all five regions North America, Latin America, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe.
