We are currently looking to recruit a Direct Billing Network Manager to join our Network team. We are specializing in international health insurance. The business line is made up of 250 members and 15 different nationalities.

Our aim is to provide local expertise to ensure easy and sustainable access to quality healthcare on an international level from a platform which, one day, will be the most highly recommended in the world.

Responsibilities and Missions

 

  • Build, maintain and optimize  the medical provider network with main focus on Hong Kong, Macao, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan to support the network & business strategy
  • Select, establish, develop, evaluate prefer providers
  • Participate with other network managers to the definition of the network strategy
  • Define and deliver actions to support the strategy with the support of claim data
  • Build, maintain and strengthen close relationship with partners defined as strategic ones for efficient case management, more cost containment possibilities
  • Negotiate fees, discount, rebates whenever possible with providers where April has high “spending”
  • Establish quality assurance  of key providers to ensure the services or/and process in place  meet expectations
  • Exchange regularly with Operations, Sales & Marketing and organize training whenever necessary to optimize utilization of network
  • Enrich providers information and ensure completeness of information on key providers in the system to enable easy selection of most appropriate one when needed by Front Office or claim departments
  • Handle provider complaint thru investigation and problem solving among departments to maintain positive business relationship with especially preferred providers
  • Take ownership of initiatives driven by Headquarters (such as development and deployment of common network system GPS)

  • Knowledge of local infrastructure
  • Sense of details and organization
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Minimum 5 years experience in health and insurance industry  
  • Bachelor degree or higher
