  • Play a key role as a senior member of the Biomedical Technology Cluster (BMT) in setting up policies, guidelines, and value added services
  • Lead the account management group for the BMTDiagnostics team. Be accountable for attracting, retaining and growing the technology companies related to medical diagnostics in the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park  
  • Drive and execute various initiatives/programmes aiming to support the development of Diagnostics team, manage business collaboration and support services to assist technology transfer from universities, and catalyzing technology and business development of partners/Park companies
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to attract new clients, execute commercial plan in the areas of client applicant pipeline generation, due diligence analysis, direct client relationship management and collaboration activities management
  • Formulate the required infrastructure needs (equipment, plants / space and manpower resources), laboratory and technology services to support the biotech companies pursuing medical diagnostics as products 
  • Prepare board papers for acquisition and implementation of infrastructure / equipment relevant to diagnostics and molecular/genomic medicine development including regulatory guidelines and IPO listing
  • Review the due diligent studies of applicants. Prepare board papers for admission of potential tenants to the Science Park and Industrial Parks Review
  • Lead the planning, coordination and analysis of survey studies on marketing needs and cliental requirements and customer satisfaction
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or senior management



  • University post graduate degree holder in life science / biotech or related subjects. Holder of professional qualifications would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 15 years’ work experience in the medical diagnostics R&D sector and 10 years in a senior management position
  • Aggressive, dynamic, mature and have a flair for entrepreneurship with astute interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • A proven track record of accomplishment in medical diagnostics R&D and having and having a professional network of contacts in the region and overseas
  • A good command of English and Chinese, written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the wide range of medical diagnostics modalities including imaging, molecular diagnostics, bioinformatics, biomarker testing etc. Understand the impact of emerging technologies including A.I., data analytics, precision medicine, molecular and genomic medicine etc on the future development of medical diagnostics
  • Excellent management skills for developing scientists and staff
